Promotion of Self Help Groups

             Social, Economical and Cultural Empowerment and poverty alleviation are the entry point for the VILFOST Ngo in the project areas. In order to achieve these comprehensive Developments for the women and children in rural areas, Vilfost has been Promoting and Organizing Self Help Groups right from the inception. There are 15 Self Help Groups have been formed and 300 women members have been enrolled so far. Total Saving of these groups and its members is Rs. 12,000/-. And they themselves are using these saving amounts for various development purposes. Thousands of women have been saved from the traditional moneylenders and from highest interest rate
